I'm in between pole options 1 and 2. He has some serious red flags (i.e. playcalling, recruiting, coaching hires, playing Rogers over Demond, etc.) but I can appreciate the situation he found himself in. He's getting paid $8 million though so the hand-wringing over any critiques and blanket calls for patience can fuck right off.

Defense was better with worse personnel this year so there's that. The six road games were a disaster.
Offense was bad. I have seen him make a good offense before though.
If he can't buy the trenches this off season, he is screwed McRee is the only tackle worth anything on the roster currently. The IOL was really bad too. I think he has the budget, we will find out if he can land any impact players. I do think uw will be used as a bargaining chip for some of the blue blood programs so finding the guys serious about leaving for a pay day will be key.

The season went pretty much as I expected in terms of # of wins. 8-4 would have exceed my expectations. Oh well, time to put a brushing on.

Someone told me thanksgiving day that a lunch size bag of potato chips has five average sized potatoes in it. If that's the case, is guess it's cheaper to get your potatoes by buying crates of potato chips rather than whole fresh ones.

In high school to convince us that potato chips were disgusting/unhealthy our science teacher would bite into a raw potato, chew it up and chase it with a cup of oil.
This was apparently to represent what just a few potato chips were. I still think about it a few times a year so I guess it worked.

It would be unrealistic to fire him without another season. Actually I hated the hire — I don't understand how you hire a coach who has never played football and is a used car salesman in a visor. But as the season wore on I decided he's OK. A lot of this now is just — $money. Pay the players the NIL money.

9 wins next yr or Door Ass Out. His playcalling is cringe at times for sure, but I’m giving him some rope with what he inherited. I do believe he is capable of building a championship caliber roster and his playcalling yips will lessen with more talent, so LIPO for now

I predicted months ago this would happen… of course it was a lot of fuck offs from closet doogs… actually I thought it would be worse. It's whether or not Fish can play the money game really.
