I once got in a fight with @haie because I said Puka Nacua leaving was a big loss and he said many of the same things @Tequilla and others are puking out
You need depth on a football team and if Paki is your 6th or 7th best Olineman then he's basically a starter. We also lost our other best rotational lineman in Henning who may be better than Landon.
Always take proven talent in hand and have unproven talent beat them out. The way this roster is developing is full on wait till he gets his guys in here year after year as people are coming in getting experience then leaving

Honestly I'd give him more props if he goes to a lesser school like Cal or Virginia where he's truly the guy. That's smart if the league is his dream.

One thing that sucks and I hate about college football now is how everyone is basically either forced or driving themselves to play earlier than they need to or should. How many players aren't ready at a high level to play until their 3rd-5th year and it's probably best in their long-term development. Even the bluest of the blue bloods can hardly get a guy to commit to that kind of development.
There's a tendency to excuse away everyone who leaves as not a loss. Puka is kind of weird though in that he went to BYU and was kind of just injured the entire time and lightly productive.
