Well, that first half was disappointing.
The offense looked ok, Lindquist better than I expected. John Ross awesome.
The defense though doesn't look as good as under Wilcox and I now remember the Boise St. fans saying they would not regret their defensive staff at all. We will see long term, its too early for me to say anything. The newbies have suffered (Baker, Kelly). I felt like the DL got better after the 1st quarter.

The thing that worries me is this: Our players will not get any stronger in 4 weeks. We are still well behind where we need to be with strength/conditioning. This does not bode well.

Hawaii was 1-11 last year. Owen aside, it doesn't get much weaker. I'll LIPO during the second half, but thus far the defense blows.gmo said:

We probably are overreacting, but Hawaii is terrible and that was a pretty pathetic half. The defense should be better, especially the front 7.
