They really need to get rid of the Conference Championship games. I know they won't because it makes them too much money.

What’s the point of a CCG? You’re playing for a bye but you’re playing an extra game against the very top competition to get the bye.
Let’s say it’s OSU v UO. One of them lose and they’ll possibly drop behind Penn St for first round of playoff who didn’t have to play the extra game yet benefit.
Never mind all of these tiebreakers that may affect whos in the CCG in the bigger leagues. So some weird shit is going to determine who plays in those games.
An extra game for injuries to occur. injuries are going to have huge effects on who wins the title going forward.
Guess we’ll find out.
Honestly, the #5 seed is the best seed in the playoff. You open at home against the G5 winner, then you play the worst of the 4 Bye teams, which might be BYU. I’d rather have that schedule than a #1 with a Bye and then having to play Tennessee or Alabama in round 2.
