Starting OL and DL next year
Will it be good enough to win @WSU and @Michigan for the first two non layup games of 2025?
LT: SR McCree
LG: RS-Frosh Paki Finau OR portal stud
C: JR Hatchett
RG RS-SR Memelaar
RT: RS-JR Azzopardi OR RS-Soph Tafai
DE: True JR Jacob Lane OR Portal Stud
DT: RS-Soph Ellineus Davis OR Portal Stud
DT: True SR Jayvon Parker (if he's recovered) OR SR Bryce Butler OR Logan Sagapoulo (if he gets another year)
DE: RS-JR Isiah Ward OR Senior DeShawn Lynch
They may not need to portal in an OL but will definitely need to portal in at least 1 DT and ideally a well-rounded DE since Ward is more of a pass-rush guy and Lynch is more of a 5 tech DL.
LB also needs portal attention since House is will be a true soph while Deven Bryant and the transfer from Michigan are unproven as far as I can tell. ZRS could easily be in the two deeps as a true frosh.
Anyone else have thoughts?

Durfee might be back
Need one stud on each line bought via portal
It will be good enough to beat WSU. Michigan, maybe
-
I forgot about Durfee, would be nice to have him as he's a 3 down DE but I don't think he'll ever be healthy enough to play more than a few games before getting hurt again.

Need more time
Need to get bigger
Need more money

Definitely need more money to bring in some stud transfers. The going rate for a good OL / DL is about $300k from what I've heard.

so they’re gonna suck again
awesome -
Need to spend money on at least 2 OL transfers and at least 1 DL transfers (possibly 2) to contend.
Next year will be Rebuild Year 1 (Take 2)
-
Need a head coach

Apparently too expensive for UWAD…

No. That’s the line of a 6 win team. Said months ago losing Marcus Bryant to Mizzo probably cost this team 2 wins and still believe it.
Scary thing is they must not think much of the Freshman OL tackles that they haven’t given even one of them a shot considering how bad the line has played. -
And that 6 wins is if more goes more right than wrong.
Our projected DL next year makes the returning OL look like the 2023 group.
