Not all Duck fans suck

LOL, which HHB duck fan is this guy?

actually, just noticed the name. I take it back
-
I think this is the first time I've seen a dooging quook.
-
Is he really dooging when he predicts a 24 point beatdown?
-
Well, he thinks we? are going to outgain Penn State by 100+ yards and get big chunk plays. I guess maybe that's half dooging? He's more optimistic than some of us.
-
that just sounds like 2024 WARSHINGTON

-
This guy seems pretty awesome too

After Phil dies, the money will still be there and so will the shear will to be a football school.
Guys like Leonard Serrato and the druids that run that school will clearly make sure that Phil's endowment continues to go toward buying mercs for that school out west. They won't put it towards sustainability funds and abortion clinics right next to the peapatch where Autzen used to be. Trust me.

”shear”
-
It's pure mockery
-
That is true though Knight's passing won't definitely won't help things. The most pertinent example is when Hugo Chavez died and Venezuela still had money but has slowly but surely swirled down the drain over the past decade or so.
-
I'll take mockery if it's actually clever. I get some chuckles from good Duck trolling about UW on Twitter. Stuff like "must suck to not be rich" with a gif of the Duck flashing dollars or like "Lanning is a bully" shit, not so much.
-
Knight's money has rules and strings. Those kinds of estates don't fuck around. Lots of restrictions. I've never understood the Knight hate, but fine. Whatever else you can say, stupid isn't one of them.

All this talk about money … it's also good to remember that other people (programs) also have money, and some have more than Oregon. Granted it's an estimate of NIL funding, and Phil's money shows up in other areas (like the permanent football endowment). But I still expected to see them higher on this list and Washington lower.
Note, no private schools because of incomplete data, so you're missing USC and Miami, which I'm sure are way, way up the list. The one that jumped out at me was Indiana, but when you think about them you have to remember they have Kelley, which is a very good B school (back up program for the MBAs who don't get into the bigs) and which sends finance bros to Wall St in bunches. Those guys write checks. Indiana is not a poor and apparently is serious about football.

You understand that we aren't dipping pen into quill and posting via carrier pigeon right?
-
That list seems wrong
-
Yes they do
-
My guess is that most ducks want Indiana in a title game, would be okay(ish) with a rematch of Ohio State, but Penn State would be the least desirable matchup. So it's in their best interest that UW gets the upset here.
-
Based on what you read here and on dogman on the matter? Yes, I'm sure it does.
-
No idea myself, but if I? were Duck I would fucking love Pedo and would take them in a heartbeat over a rematch with Buck or Indiana for what I assume are obvious reasons. Rematch with Buck would be a tougher game without question and the first team to beat Indiana is going to get the following response: "Yeah, we all knew they were shit all along."
Penn State is one of those names that reverberates. It's not completely disconnected from your Oregon uniform theory. Beating Penn State will always look like an accomplishment even if they're not that good (and I don't think they are). The further away from the game you get, the less people remember the specifics and all they have are the names of the teams in the game. 10 to 20 years from now, nobody is going to automatically remember that Pedo was overrated. Likewise, nobody is going to remember "that was a really good Indiana team!"
Hard to beat Buck twice. I'd want none of that if I were them.
-
We want Penn St
Beat the B1G big 3 in season one.
-
Penn St feels like a matchup that Oregon isn't expecting similar to our team against Michigan last year, where all the sudden Gaybriel is getting locked down and they're getting their ass kicked physically in a 17-6 game. Just my opinion though. We'll see if PSU's offense is truly just ass this weekend.
-
-
Penn State always looks like ass against Ohio State. I would expect the same against Oregon. Michigan isn't a factor this year but they suck against good Michigan teams too
They don't look like ass against Washington type teams. This year's edition
-
Go Cuogs.
-
I'm just never overwhelmed with PSU or Franklyn. I'll allow for the possibility that they're a tougher out than Indiana since we still don't really know who they are. Anyway, more clarity on the way.
-
As long as there is a Bruener on the field, there is hope.
I actually think Dwag will be competitive. Expectations are down now, coaches and players can relax their sphincters and nothing to lose.
-
If UW was in Oregon's situation this year I'd want the championship opponent…
- Indiana - I think they're well coached and tough. Their raw talent is super suspect though and they could get easily simply outclassed. Probably learn a lot about them when they play Ohio State.
- Penn State - Feel like their typical teams outside of when they had McSorley and Barkley. Franklin can't win big games and any good team that doesn't fuck up should beat them.
- Ohio State - Easily the most talented of these teams and best at QB. Will be really hard to beat twice and beat them by one at home in a rabid Autzen with them flying across the country. Day continues to beat Franklin in the battles of who is the second-worst big game coach at a power school.
-
The doog in me tells me this UW team should get a game against a better team where things come together and they at least keep it close. This feels like a better chance than Oregon. I still don't see it though, especially since it's in Pennsylvania.
