Paying NFL players to participate in Fantasy Football?

Is it inconceivable for the Fantasy Football League League (FFL) industry to one day start paying NFL players based on performance?
I was thinking that the players could get paid based on each player's individual performance by; 1) the FFL and the NFLPA agreeing on a performance based pay structure or, 2) I could imagine the players taking the FFL to court and use some legitimate argument and be awarded earnings from the FFL.
