It cracks me up how these fanbases have this cultish alliance to their programs. You know damn well if these things happened to any other PAC 12 team, they would be laughing and roaring like crazy. But since it happened to their team, they get all butt hurt and feel picked on.

Here's a perfect example of the split between HHB, DHB, etc from the rest. If this happened to UW, 90% of you would act just like your acting now, while Dawgman would go into meltdown. The Same goes to the DHBs on the board compared to the Duck posters on educk. The sarcasm can get a little much. I'm just as guilty as everyone else, but the level of overall perspective is refreshing, because perspective is so rare when it comes to other message boards.

This. I have as much fun ridiculing tribalism as I do talking football (probably more, because football talk gets repetitive after XX years) but making fun of oogs never gets old.
