I was in the endzone section directly overlooking the last play of the coug game. Right away I knew it was doomed. The crowd reaction was the most intense I've been in albeit for the other side.
I just hate Fisch's answers to questions where he should admit that he screwed it up. Coleman only getting 9 carries? It makes on sense and he should own it rather than come up with a stupid excuse about keeping him "fresh".
Just say, "Yes, I should have gotten Coleman more involved and kept the Iowa pass rush at bay by running him at those DEs who were giving our tackles fits. That's on me and I'll use the bye week to tighten that up."
I don't Fisch to me right now seems like one of the several guys hired at like a Tennessee or Nebraska or Florida who had success at a smaller school and is decent but now at a program that's kind of lost in the margins and he's not a miracle worker. Had he been set up better I could have seen him be like a Neuheisel who has some quick early success, but he was given a really hard setup so he's more like Neuheisel in 2002.
I couldn't picture Lambo or Sark taking a program like Arizona the way he did and building them up.
I think part of Fisch personal plan is to mail it in this year so he can have his incremental improvement datapoints the next years. He just doesn’t seem to care or be bothered by losing.

Could also be Lake.

Solid take.
The 1980's "Danny O'Neil Ducks". LOL. He played at Oregon from '91-'94. Most of us remember him.
so far he seems more like Lake to me, just missing the “RUN THE DAMN BALL” hat.
of course, he was our? QB when football began.
If we're bashing agonizing tedious 80s Oregon football, I am out.
it’s the 6 yard hitch routes on 3rd and 9 for me.
Bump:

He will never, ever lean on the run.
He's one of those offensive passing coaches that will never admit that his passing game needs to take a back seat in any circumstance.
