I guess if I was a real fan...someone who bought a lot of tickets and merch and traveled to Seattle for a lot of games...I'd be frustrated too. Since I'm a long distance fan via my phone I just don't have the kind of money or emotion invested that leads to saying things like "I'm done".
I'm not sure what I'd be done with that really matters. The 20 minutes I spend watching locked on Mariners a few times per week I guess.
MLB is a casual hobby. The Ms are the team I choose to follow because they're regional. I suppose I could pick another, jump from front runner to front runner, etc, but why? If that was my approach I would've ditched the Huskies in the mid 90s, maybe briefly returning in 2000, 2016, and 2023.
Baseball is on every night when it's on. You don't like baseball, which makes it pretty faggy to reply to this thread, but if you did would you complain that there were games available to watch every night?

A tradition unlike any other.

imagine watching 162 games every year and then not making the playoffs. What a waste of time.
I will watch them solely because I love the game. I am not a fan of any team, but follow teams and managers that interest me in the moment, or season…

What makes you think I don’t like baseball?
You make watching the games sound like work that needs a payoff.
But I don't watch 162 games. That would be a big commitment.
162 games at 3 hours per is 20 days of the year. Yeah, that's a massive waste of time.
