You guys really expected this makeshift roster to come out of the gates and lay waste to everyone? Seriously?? Fuck off with that
There will be growing pains, this team can beat anyone on the schedule. I’m seriously not afraid of one single opponent on the schedule. I expect to see growth every game with this staff. These coaches know what it takes and how to win, this roster doesn’t completely, but will get there
Has nothing to do with being “scared” of other teams. Has everything to do with being scared of UW fucking it up. Capable teams will feast on the mistakes and shit UW is serving up.
As your newly appointed Doog in Chief, the biggest concerns I have is our Center play and penalties. I don’t see them as monumental hurdles. We have enough physicality on O and especially D(I said this defense was as good or better than last season before it started). We are going to couch up some games later this season for sure, but just sit back and enjoy the grind back to prominence.
I haven't paid attention to the Center play that much, what has bothered you the most? The Titialli / Rogers fumbled exchanges are probably on Rogers.
I'm also wondering if Landen Hatchett is closer to being ready now that UW is nearly a month into the season. Zach Henning can also play C though he's just a RS-Frosh
Not saying they're good, but they did beat a Power 5 school, at least.
I hope the team isn't overlooking Rutgers the way the Doogs on this bored are this week. Short week to prepare, first road game of the year, long travel. There are a lot of things stacking up against UW. Also, UW hasn't shown anything to prove the team is actually decent to good.

UW is better than most of those teams. I think Indiana might be dynamic. Rutgers is not better than UW but they can beat UW at home.
I think UW has a higher cieling than most in the BIG, for sure.

UW is 0-1 against capable teams.

Weber and NW both have 2 wins, Eastern has 3 and Wazzu has 4.
It's not like they're playing a bunch of winless teams
are you saying that was a "good" eastern Michigan team?
Oh FFS with this crap. Do you realize who EMU, Weber, and Northwestern have beaten? UW has played nothing but pauper programs and lost to one of them.
And so you realize what Rutgers is?
We're about to debate who is shittier, Virginia Tech or WSU.
Rutgers won their game on the road, we lost ours at a neutral site in our home city.
Virginia Tech lost to Vanderbilt lmao

Vandy also almost beat Mizzou.
