News flash: prez elections aren't won on policy. It's a popularity contest. It's about loose overarching goals, forward vision, and who can speak to the majority of people and swing voters in swing states, especially in this election. Don is swaying nobody speaking to his core audience and railing on about shit on Truth Social, which nobody besides Ern and a few here see. He has shown so little interest in unifying and attracting voters that it almost seems like he's doing it on purpose.
Meanwhile the Dems are out here with optimism, music, and smiles, rocking out, star power everywhere, Taylor Swift jumping in while Derek thinks Amber Rose and a foreign born investor named Sacks is a societal shift. Get real, bruhs. Who?
Trump is fighting a battle that Trump is incapable of engaging in. He's got his base and that's it.

As to surrogates, they don't win elections. Candidates and their policies do. As to Trump's cabinet members, he chose a bunch of establishment types last time. Big mistake. And yes it may be a shit show... but I'll take his shitshow with his policies over her shitshow and the disaster another term would be any day.
