I kind of agree but people always bitch about teams getting left out. There are still complaints about teams 69 (ROFL) and 70 in the basketball tournament.RoadDawg55 said:Four teams isn't enough. 8 teams would be okay, but the FCS has it right. Just copy their playoffs and make it 16 teams. Take out one or even two shitty non conference games and make it happen.
If it went to 16, the bowls would become totally irrelevant. Most of the ones named after corporate chicken wing joints, chain restaurants, pizza joints, hunger/nuts already are, but the rose, orange, sugar, cotton, Fiesta & a few others are worth saving. Besides, If it were 16, the SEC would weasel its way into five or six slots.

8 is the right number. 4 New Year's Eve and day games linked with the major bowls. You can still have the Other bowls. They're TV content anyways so they're not going away and there'll be a bid for them from ESPN.
