What NIL changes are coming? Are you talking about the $22 million revenue sharing?
That still doesn’t prevent an NIL collective from paying a player above what the revenue sharing pays.

If the Huskies were 6-2 instead of 4-4 would it make a difference?
A slight difference TBH. I’m tired of starting over and tired of a segment of fanbase and a soft administration willing to bend over and accept starting over and rebuilding. Being 6-2 doesn’t guarantee we will be 6-2 or better after 8 games next year. It’s going to take a couple years to be consistent and I feel like we’ll be starting over after year three again.

These little changes won't help anything. The portal is the bigger problem to me anyway. Buying a recruiting class of high school players, which supposedly happened all the time anyway, really was much different. You still had to develop them and guys didn't pan out, had injuries, etc, and it created some cycles, unless you were fucking Saban. Now buying proven players has changed everything.
If we're basically going to make it minor leagues, why not have a draft at this point? One thing of some of the bs narratives that never gets brought up is that unlike pros and minor leagues, you at least get a say in where you played once in college.

If you're going to play the game then play the damn game
Rules won't save you. Never have

Those are good points and they may not. As I understand it, the $22 million is the hard cap and then the soft cap is from boosters. That money can't be $1 million for doing a 30 second commercial for a local carpet cleaning company because that is not the going rate. There will be a 3rd party commission that will review the promotional deals. But if anyone has more / better details, please correct me if I'm wrong.

The main thing is UW needs to find a coach who is good enough to stay 5 seasons or more but also likes what is going on enough to spurn big SEC schools and the NFL. Petersen stayed 6 seasons but NIL grossed him out so he retired.
Another thing is stability at the AD level. If the AD changes too much, a good coach won't want to stick around either.

Race is right and wrong
He is a butt hurt jilted lover about the DeBoer situation, and he is also downplaying a program that has had a lot of success in the last 10 years. Two playoff appearances with a win and a natty appearance is nothing to sneeze at, and playoff appearances will mean less moving forward with tripling the field.
But, UW is less serious than they need to be to avoid seasons like this one, 2021, and 2019. Every aspect of the athletic department needs to be improved. He is dead on about that. Spend money to make money is never not true.

I'm right. Period
Yeah I want the coach who went 25-3 and played for the natty
That seems normal to me. Your need to invent a false narrative about it speaks volumes
Enjoy the quest for 8 and 4 in a few years under your boy Fisch

10 wins by year 3 or tarmac
You would've fired DJ and Peterlips after year 2, yeah yeah we know

Year 3
Fuck off
