Other dimensions which we can't perceive, exist.
All these new particles scientists are finding at the LHC and at other colliders are theorized to come from other dimensions. These newer particles disappear back into their other dimensions nanoseconds after their particle collisions. String theorists have calculated out at least 11 dimensions. Where are these particles disappearing to?

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x15oae8_celebrity-ghost-stories-s04e27_webcamTime is arguably another dimension...and time itself may have other dimensions. Perhaps grandma is still out there in some form, interacting with us in an other, unknown dimension...in some form of incomprehensible time/space.
Perhaps it's residual, inter-dimensional energy some can sense.
Precognition and clairvoyance result for some. The ability to sense and more deeply process those strange things in the environment, which very few others sense or fathom... = ghosts.
Please tell grandma to intervene in the Furd and Oregon games this year, if you can.

I say other dimensions because of our limited understanding of time and space. There really isn't a linear time. And you don't have to believe in God to understand that there can't really be a beginning to existence so there isn't an end. Eternity is a concept that those of us who believe and those who don't need to accept.
Scientists can't tell us what it is that banged and I can't tell you where God came from. And science and Genesis agree more than you night think
Only collegedoog has the answers to these questions
tl,dr
Robert Stack scared the hell out of kids in the 80s on these topics

He found a fancy way to say "something can't come from nothing". Congratulations. But he wrote it that way specifically because he knows that statement is idiotic. There is absolutely no reason to think something couldn't come from nothing.
He showed he doesn't understand how science works by equating where god comes from and where the Big Bang "came from". Not knowing where two things came from does not put them on equal footing. Especially not when one has actual scientific evidence to back up its existence. It's like saying evolution and intelligent design are on equal footing because we can't show how life began. (although based on the awesomes for Races post some of you probably actually think that, which is sad)
The part about Genesis is a complete joke. If you think that statement makes sense then you don't even know what science is. What I suspect he means, but is too smart to actually say it because it's fucktarded, is that Genesis is scientifically accurate. That's not true, at all. Unless you want to ignore its many scientific inaccuracies and stretch some of its very broad statements into meaning something that they clearly do not mean.
I really hope Race copy pasted that and that I'm being whooshed. That post was as stupid as it was hollow. It's lipstick on a pig.
