Technically, Barkley said he's retiring after this next season regardless of TNT having games or not.
Blazers are another example. They fired both Mikes who were entertaining, and killed CSNNW that had some good fan shows with hosts that spoke their mind and were actually fans of the team. They instead went to sterile, boring ROOT sports and they kept complete dumbshit Brooke Olzendam.
Kevin Calabro and Lamar Hurd are just not it. It just sounds fucking weird listening to them do play by play for a Portland team.
NBA across the board has just been getting terrible advice and how to connect with fans for at least 5 or 6 years. Just completely fallen off a cliff and already turning into baseball where just a few large cities care about it but no one else does.
Rather than Turner, the NBA should have replaced ESPN/ABC with NBC.Turner’s NBA coverage is awesome and award winning while ESPN/ABC coverage is complete garbage.
