Hyperlink issues? (Damn Vanilla)

I see that lots of us are having issues importing links and not having them hyperlink automatically as before. ( Last week I noticed a format change from vanilla and then it changed back🤔)
I tried like 6 times the other day and a YouTube video would only appear as plain text.
After much frustration and button pushing I realized that in the quote box,( the four Icons) If you press the one with this symbol ... <>
It allows you to manually insert your link with the hyper link.
NOTE
I'm using a mobile and on the mobile version so I don't know what the the desktop version sees.
