He will probably win big down there. He's a proven winner and will have a shit ton of talent. I'm most interested to see what it looks like without Grubb working with him. Also, Haener and Penix are both far better passing QB's than Milroe, but 'Bama probably has two 5-star qb's behind him ready to take over if he isn't getting it done.
I'd be surprised if he's not successful to the level that he's in the NFL within five years. I assume he'll be like UW, but with easier elite talent existence and acquisition across the board. He won't have a passer anywhere near Penix (but who will?) likely anytime soon or the WR talent and possibly OT of the past two years? but that can also be made up by having dudes on defense.
DeBoer lost three games and only one after midway through 2022 with a defense that had one third rounder, a couple of fifth rounders, and a guy who is maybe a day three pick in 2025. Imagine what he can do with a stacked defense.
I do think the SEC will be a tougher challenge than the last two Pac-12s though and he might face more teams that want to and have the personnel to just run the ball at you, and keep your offense off the field.

That's middle age with how much we drink.

Seeing DeBoer without Penix will be interesting
So much of his D1 success is tied to Penix.
He did well with Haener at Fresno, too. But Penix was a unique college passer.
Quit plagiarizing my shit fucko… but still, hurtful.
DeBoer’s gonna kick ass at Bama. The 12 team playoff takes some pressure off and his experience is winning playoffs.
