Did the GOP become likeTrump? Or did Trump become the GOP? I think the answer is pretty clear.
In 16’ Trump was telling Mexico they were gonna pay for the wall. Mexico said no we’re not, and Trump comes back and says the wall just got 10 feet higher. That’s the old Trump. I hope he throws hay makers all night on Thursday.

Meltdown
Everybody evolves if they are intellectually honest
Post Dubya the Republican Party was tired and in desperate need of taking a long look in the mirror. McCain wasn't inspirational as a candidate in any way (service inspiration aside) and Romney is the definition of a RINO.
The path for Republicans have been in a long time in a position where their path forward needed to be tied to understanding the temperature of the nation (particularly of the non elites that the Democrats have abandoned) and being the party of delivering on their promises.
You can interpret on who moved where from that
The GOP became like America
We all want the same 80% of things.
Idiots get bogged down on the 20%.
Every businessman like Trump knows the 80/20 rule.
Exactly... and it's better to now sound so crazy and win to 70% of America than to sound like it and lose
it’s all cope. The GOP won’t deliver on any promises. But the excuses will be it’s the democrats! At least a OF celebrity endorsed Trump. Check back in a few years. I will be happy to eat crow. Trump is surrounded by swamp creatures. Sara Wiles is running his campaign and she is the swamp. Good luck.
Still better than Biden
I don't know about 80% of Americans wanting the same thing. The hard left dem base has no interest in what I want and I have no interest in what they want. I'd agree that most Americans don't want their kids groomed or open borders or uncontrolled crime and homelessness. But at this point it isn't a voting issue. I hope Trump wins and we get both houses of Congress. But I don't see a Nixon or Reagan like victory. Look at the dazzler. When you try to get him pinned down on any ridiculous issue that the dems support, he will deny that he supports it. But he never votes against it. Of course he lies a lot so who knows. When California and New York vote overwhelmingly for anti-American policies something is wrong. I agree that we should hammer away at the safety issues related to the border, crime and homelessness.
Are you serious Clark? I'm not even an abortion issue voter but Trump's supremes threw Roe out which was thought to be impossible not two election cycles ago.
Biggest 2a wins in my lifetime despite Trump flubbing much of it.
Chevron Deference totalled.
Freaking out as a candidate tacks to center for the general election to get elected is fugazi.
I’m finding you to be a man of reason lately.
Which quite honestly is not a good thing
Do I feel lucky? Well, do I?
