I blame it more on the pharmaceutical industry along with most physical problems outside of high blood pressure, asthma, and a few others that generic drugs actually help maintain.
There are seniors on over 10 medications and with that many meds for that many ailments it’s impossible to get titration correct, let alone being able to determine if it’s actually working.
I worked at a Big Five Pharma giant for about 6 years when I was in the Fortune 500 job-hopping stage of my career. It was a complete joke almost 20 years ago with what new meds were in the pipeline.
This is why you see such massive pushes for vaccinations. All the drugs that work are off-patent so scaring people into branded and now rushed vaccines is the only large source of revenue left in the industry.
The “booster” shots for Covid is hilarious to me. Each one is like $700 in what is truly the largest corporate welfare program, dollar-wise, in US history since taxpayers are paying for them. That many people seem to blindly trust these companies is sad to me given my experience. My company paid an almost $3 billion fine a year after I left for altering trial data on a heart medicine.
