Recruiting Roundup: More Commitments On The Way?

I agree with this. Most recent example is Taliese Fuaga. Tacoma native goes to Oregon State and develops for a few years and goes first round. Never had an offer from UW. I'm not saying all these kids are guarantees, but some of them are developmental projects that will pan out. If you're choosing between a local 3* OL and an AZ 3* OL that have similar tape, give the benefit to the local kid. I speculate that he'll be less likely to portal, more likely to stick around as invested alumni and give $$ and love to the school in the future.

81% of my thoughts are pointless but you’re not knew here so you should know that. But who gives a shit… right?

I guarantee that if one of you heathens gave $1 billion to UW's NIL program, we would finish in the top 5 every year.

What and who pays all this supposed $ for programs like Ohio State, Bama, Oklaho, etc...? If it's all about $, I would think UW and the Seattle market would be alot better situated for the pay to play game, right?

I don’t know that Bama has a big donor or donor base. I think Bama gets by on being a Blue Blood more than NIL.
OSU has a huge alumni base. I have no idea who their big donors are but they have a huge pool to choose from.
Oklahoma? Fuck if I know. Oil money?

Oklahoma has fireworks and casinos
Indian Nations

I can’t believe we can’t get these 2 fucks to break off just a little piece.

Gates might jump on board if UW agreed to feed their players the synthetic “meat” he’s been pushing. Winning a natty with a team fueled by pipette grown beef and soy/pea protein ground would be a great advertisement for his products. Personally I’d rather take my chances on the open market than sell out my beloved animal proteins to reel in that whale.

With all the things you can do with money - charity, investing to make more, etc, I just don't see Seattle whales deciding what they want to do with it is give cash to teenage athletes. I have a feeling the same problem is happening at USC/LA at a place that used to be known for bags.
