Sharks killed 10 world wide in 2023. Annual hippo deaths per year is about 500. None in Hawaii though.
No hippos in tahoe or coeur d'alene
Crocs still eat thousands in Africa.
First world problems in Oahu. The shore drop-off near Pipeline freaked me out the first time I was there. No clue what could lurk beneath.
