I went to a practice round at the 98 PGA Championship. Saw Payne in long pants and no hat. Most people didn't recognize him
Went to the third round o the WGC there. Zinger hit one into the trees where we were standing and was pissed. We then positioned ourselves at the rope where the players walked between holes and Tiger walked through with his thousand mile stare. He wasn't in contention so galleries were small in the morning
Lexie Thompson is the new Jerome Bettis. If I had a nickel for every time they've said she has announced her retirement I could buy myself a nice steak dinner.
I caught a little on Saturday I think and was intrigued by Sarah Schmelzel from a distance. Her body looked amazing. Turns out she has a bit of a butta face, but isstill easy on the eyes in lpga dress.
Even though I have improved greatly since returning to golf 12 months ago after 14 years of not playing, I would be a disaster at Sahalee. I would lose 6-7 golf balls for sure.
This is going to sound crazy, but Sahalee is actually a great course for a high handicap player. Unless you hit it it one of the couple of small ponds that are in front of the greens, you aren't losing a ball there. There's no tall grass or shrubbery off of the fairways or anywhere on the course that will eat up balls. The trees are huge and intimidating but it's super clean and playable in them and the ball is always easily findable. You would lose 10 balls at Plateau Club or Bear Creek.
By no means am I accusing her of lying, but she has missed three cuts in a row and shot an 81 for round 2 at Sahalee. This after being invincible and hailed far and wide as the greatest on earth. I think she is certainly up in her head and trying to get right. She's only 25 years old.
White Horse is a really cool course, but like you said it's punishment for being offline a little is a lost ball. Haven't played it since they supposedly softened it up though. I remember hitting some shots that I thought were going to be good and the ball was just gone.

We followed Nelly Korda around for three holes and Jin Young Ko for nine holes. This is video I took of Ko.
Which player was hotter in person than you were expecting?
Interesting question. Definitely Patty Tamatavakit
Amy Yang looks pretty damn good for 35 or so.

My new girl is Aline Krauter.
Realized it was bad for to name drop without pics.

Yes I think you're right about Sahalee. It's trees but few bushes

I’ve never lost more balls than at White Horse. Fun course but absolutely brutal.
Bitten by a dog is the new "dog ate my homework".

No warning, just gone
Yes, no warning. White Horse is Tetherow but with trees and even more blind shots.
