Ranking Big 10 OL Going Into 2024
Man, it really feels like college football talent has fallen off a cliff. These rankings I'm looking at lack stars, are super shallow and it's hard to gauge the impact of transfers as they move schools.
- Donovan Jackson G Ohio State
- Logan Jones C Iowa
- Connor Colby G Iowa
- Josh Fryar T Ohio State
- Josh Priebe C Michigan
- Tanner Miller C Michigan State
- Joe Huber G Wisconsin
- Luke Newman G Michigan State
- Aireontae Ersery T Minnesota
- Riley Mahlman T Wisconsin
Others to watch: Gus Hartwig C Purdue, Ajani Cornelius T Oregon, Josh Simmons T Ohio State, Jonah Monheim T USC, Matthew Bedford G Oregon

So weird that we don’t have anyone on that list. I heard the spring transfer portal was going to be yuge.
Not making excuses because they should have done better but there weren't great names available in the spring portal. Bryant from SMU was probably the best and he even might have just been borderline to make this. A lot of the best guys are following coaches and Savaiinaea would have been the one big splash from Arizona.
I'm going to make excuses. SMU, now in a power conference and flush with cash still wasn't even willing to pay him what his bidding war numbers were coming out to. Mizzou is going for it. MSU was a head scratcher though.
i’m hearing Oregons line is so good. They have their own top 10 list.
Oregon's OL looks like a decent group. It could get a big boost if Conerly has a revelation in his third season.
I hope he has a revelation.
A biblical revelation. Like plagues and burning in the lake of fire. Fuck that guy forever.
where would Brailsford have rated on this?
I think you need Josh Conerly Jr on there before Bedford.
This is fair. I went back and forth on that. I hope not but a lot of talented guys put it together in their third year. I also should have included Vega Ioane from Penn State who Deboer fucked up not being able to get to recommit.
Definitely somewhere between like 2 and 5, though a lot of that is just a testament to how limited the returning talent and experience is.
The way things stand, we? should just have most of the DL go both ways like the old days since the OL is paper thin. Note that Raley speculates the Fish and staff may just be praying it holds up.

Even against Michigan, Brailsford played well
Him and Powell leaving are tragic
You're doing a good job.
Thanks Woolley!
