Since the dawn of man/Adam ( or whatever you're preferred origin story) man has found the cure or medicine in nature.
Early 20th century "Science" found petroleum and started making petroleum based medicines, vaccines, ointments and other remedies for everything that ales you.
Holistic Doctors using natural medicine are now considered quacks by mainstream medicine...all the while, birth defects, autism, allergies, ADD ADHD and a host of other rare diseases and untreatable conditions have been on the rise in the last 100 years.
Kinda makes you think......🤔
Im not even going to go into to the unholy alliance of HMOs and Government involvement that should be just between you and your Dr.
Obviously we have accomplished a lot. No more small pox or having a third of Europe die of the black death. Much of that is hygiene but still. On the other hand, obesity is on the rise, especially in the US with still basically unlimited food, particularly sugar and carbohydrates. Toss in alcohol, tobacco and drugs. Still US life expectancy is up since 1950.
