Titanic sinking in the James Cameron film… Even though it’s a corny love story, this part is horrendous and I can only imagine the terror.
1917… essentially the entire film… even though it’s chinspired by real events and not an actual true story we still got the point on how awful this shit would have been.
I want to throw out the plane wreck in the Tom Hanks film Castaway was pretty frightening in the movie theatre when I saw it. Yes, not a true story.

The Pacific captured the stories from the books on which it was based rather well. Same with Band of Brothers.
