Meanwhile, at Cal still too high

Ship them to Gaza
-
Half, or more, literally, of the people in Berkeley, CA would not survive a week in Gaza when it was still Gaza before Israel bent it over.
The best of them are the pride and trans protestors for a Free Palestine! It's almost like they don't get it. There was demonstration at UW I happened upon on my weekly walk that was full of Pride flags. Pretty fucking hilarious. -
Agree.

The best part of this monumental flip-flop?
Who are the people who incessantly screamed about their feelings, cancel and ruin lives over their feelings being hurt or offended, and say things like "speech is violence" and expect protection of their feelings to be legislated or enforced by all of our institutions? Remember them? That's the crowd that is now telling Jews, especially Jewish students, "Too bad, get used to it. Free speech!!!!" They are also the people who are grievously insulted at the suggestion that they might be a Jew hater if they're heard chanting "from the River to the Sea." I'm told by said folks, over and over, that "just because I'm critical of Israel as an oppressor state doesn't mean I'm antisemitic!" These, of course, are the people who would call you a racist for, say, opposing affirmative action. Or not be down with George Floyd. Or 1,000,000 other things. They don't seem to like how the shoe fits on the other foot.
The best part? The "don't hurt my feelings or else" crowd are now feverishly committed to the principle of free speech and have suddenly toughened up when responding to charges that their protests make Jews feel "unsafe".
IMO, this is the greatest expression of left-wing hypocrisy in my entire fucking lifetime. Not even close. Hamas has succeeded in making me suddenly more conservative. If I were a younger man, I might go to Israel and join the IDF. That's how hot my balls are on this issue.
Greatest exposure of the lunacy of the left in my lifetime. No hyperbole there at all. The left has abandoned Israel, the only shining light that exists in that part of the world.

Biden's America
-
See bucky boy. That's a fucking video
I guess you hate Jews
-
Buck hates America too
-
Expecting black college students and coaches to be able to use a smartphone is white systemic institutional racism. At least that's what the dems are telling me.
-
Half of the Cal-Berkeley students couldn’t hack it in CDA
-
@MelloDawg Is hamas
-
I'm finding myself in the Candace crowd - minus the fundie Christian language.
I guess that's what I get for reading a book. A book heretofore regarded by both sides as the most even, fair account of the history of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.…
To be clear, this isn't a defense of Hamas. It's remaining consistent with the view - prior to O7 - that the Israeli's need to stop treating the Palestinians like shit if they ever expect any relationship (dual-state or otherwise) to eventually move forward peacefully.
I also think Hamas views Israel's subsequent reaction to recent events a win for Hamas in the eyes of the world. Time will tell.
.

Nobody treats the Palis worse than Hamas except for maybe the Arabs at large
Hoe come Israel is a functioning democracy and despite hundreds of billions of dollars Gaza is a piece of shit armed camp that has sworn the death of all Jews
I guess the Allies needed to stop treating the Germans like shit
-
Really has nothing to do with Israel. The Caliphate fans are going to caliphate. Look at Europe. And its now here. I support Israel for real politic reasons. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. We have a real world laboratory of a side by side situation like North Korea and South Korea. One chooses life the other chooses death and embraces it to kill us
-
The people that know them best
-
40 years later the Allies re-unified Germany.
70 years later, Israel has done no such thing with Gaza and the West Bank.
To be fair, they almost got it done if it weren’t for Arafat being steaming pile of shit at Camp David w Slick Willie. But still, they left a million people living in a concentration camp which they are now scraping off the face of the earth. But don’t call that bull-dozing genocide.
. -
It's not a Concentration camp
Don't be silly
-
-
What else would you call a place that lacks freedom of movement in-and-out for its inhabitants?
At the individual level that would be the very definition of incarceration. Now add a million people.
. -
What would call a place that spends a their money on arms instead of food and uses hospitals as a terror base
What would you call the freedom of movement on October 7?
They can leave but nobody wants them. They fucked up Jordan and Lebanon and Egypt is building that wall
They know them
Where can Palestinians vote? Israel
-
I’m not going to defend Hamas.
How come the Palestinians haven’t voted themselves out of Gaza?
. -
The tug left being antisemitic is the least surprising. Some guy in Idaho though.
-
According to AP, Support for Hamas has increased since the beginning of the war- Why should Israel let more than the 150K enter the country on a daily basis? Especially after many have been accused of scouting ahead for the Oct 7th massacre.
-
Because they support Hamas
-
The only reason Germany and Japan are friendly today is because they were turned to rubble and the civilian population was decimated
Let nature take its course
Fuck around
Find out
-
JFC Pawz. Concentration camp? Quit visiting the UW campus. It's making you punchy bro.
And read a different book. The Palis have entirely dug their own hole here. The history is clear. Hamas is their representative government and 10/7 is what they are about. As someone once said, people get the government they deserve.
Israel has not "occupied" shit. They regulate the border of who and what goes in and out SOLELY to prevent what happened anyway. Imagine what Gaza would've been had they not done that. And still, the missiles are firing.
But Palestinian Arabs are free to work and live in Israel (well, they were. I assume that program is shut down forever now). Pali Arabs do live in Israel. There is an Israeli-Arab on Israel's high court. But there was not a single Jew in Gaza. Not 1. Israel is the light. The rest of that dust bowl is the dark. There is a reason why Egypt's security wall is bigger and better than Israel's. They don't want them either.
This is a tale of poor and uneducated people who have zero chance at a pipe dream for which they raise their children to be willing to die. We're talking about a population overrun with Koresh Branch Davidians. Hamas enjoyed wide support in Gaza and they, Hamas operatives, were pretty indistinguishable from gen pop. Hamas is an organization that was deeply rooted in and organically very much a part of the city and culture of Gaza.
The Gazans could have had a very different fate. It was 100% entirely in their power. They had 4 chances at more, and even then, they could have had a bright future even with those 4 fuck-ups. And they chose Hamas. They are Hamas; Hamas is they. There is no "other". This idea that Gaza was full of great people and a few loons running the show is propaganda propped up by Hamas and crazy people on the left in the west. We? and the rest of the world hold the entire country of Germany responsible for WWII. We don't say "it was just Hitler and a few goons" or "fine people on both sides". It's Germany. They built it and they had to eat it, even if there were decent people who opposed in secret (and, don't kid yourself; the Nazis enjoyed wide support in Germany).
At the end of the day, you have one salient issue here: looking at what is going on there through a western lens. You can't. There is a whole other set of values and mores at work there that are not even remotely related to basic things you hold true.
Bottom line: Israel is the kind of country, and they are the kind of people, who you can live next to in peace and prosperity if you want to. They're like Canada for Christ's sake. Except they know how to fight when they have to.
-
100 fucking percent.
Also, before anyone says it, Israel does not need our shitty little $3.8 billion subsidy for war toys. And they come with strings attached anyway. They can develop and build them domestically or buy them elsewhere. Israel is a country with significant capital investment. They won all their wars before we were their shitty best friends.
Israel does not need the US to deal with Hamas. Obviously.
-
I'm still not convinced that the EU isn't the Nazis revenge
-
The fucking UN. Does anybody really listen to them when they speak? JFC. It's been humorous to watch Bibi just plow right through them like they're not even talking.
-
It is the one true sadness of human nature: strength and aggression only knows strength and aggression. It is the history of the world that authoritarian regimes are only willing to come to the table after, and only after, you have brought them to their fucking knees.
Everybody needs to read about Churchill (Right) and Chamberlain (Wrong). Everybody.
Damn right. Fuck around and find out.
And despite all that, Israel is charting new territory in selective urban warfare. Going out of their way to avoid civilians like no other invading force ever in human history. They could have glassed the place on day 1 and this thing would be in the rearview mirror. But people like our shitty president and the loons at UW critique their every move because they're secretly Jew hating Nazis. Or something. -
Negotiate with this. Make no mistake they won't stop at the Jews
