I think he originally wanted to run to give the GOP a chance to win since the never trumpets are gone... for a while the squishy middle was to, but Joe has fucked it up so bad, they are leaning Trump at the moment... let's just hope Trump doesn't do anything dumb....

Full on Democrats now in almost every way and openly vote for them yet continue to whine about the current state of the GOP. Dems/NeverTrumps are the party of establishment boomers and they sprinkle in an AOC once in awhile but buy her off with millions to stay under control.
Now if Abbot continues to grow hair on his balls Texas could swing back to deep red like Florida.
