Am I the only one who rolls his eyes at people making the “dub” signal with their hand? I think it’s so stupid.
In my day, if you threw up that sign it was strictly about west coast rap. Then it got absorbed somewhere during the dumb sark era. I realize it’s forever a part of the progrum and it’s probably good for marketing…but does anybody else think it sucks as much as I do?🤔

Honestly, it felt like it came up during Oregon's run as an answer to the vagina symbol they do with their hands.. Right around the time that we? got shiny mirror helmets and Sarkesian was bending over for Chip. Seemed like Washington FB was the least cool thing in the world at that time, with old people like me who don't like anything to change yelling at everyone to get off my lawn, and Sark and his legion of followers (and lest we forget, he had a fucking legion of followers that pied piper mf'er) were ushering in a new era of cool.
So, I basically associate it with Sark. I can tell you definitively as a graduate of the class of 1990 and having attended my first game to watch Charles White and USC, before the north side erector set existed, I never saw anybody do that thing with their fingers.
Personally, I don't do things like that. I don't throw up the U either. Beneath me. All of it. I wear a Husky hat to games, maybe talk a little shit depending on who's with me for backup, and that's about it.
"Winners win" might've been my favorite saying this last year. I could do without the Dubs Up stuff, but my drunk self would disagree.

I've never liked "Go Dawgs" or "Dawgs" at all. Another thing that sounds you're a doog version of DuckZone503.
It's "huskies". There's a million college teams called the "Bulldogs" including the fag one on the east side. Own having a great mascot that is only copied by 2 other schools (that suck at football).
A they don't put fucking german shepherds and snickerdoodles on the Iditarod for Christ's sake.

I thought Dawgs was always good as an "alt name" due to the W in the middle. DAWGS in the middle of the helmet is an underrated part of our uniforms.
