I heard a cop say he didn’t think marijuana was a gateway drug but at the same acknowledged that every heroin or meth addict he dealt with started with weed.

People that end up on hard drugs start with booze or weed because they’re looking for an escape from bigger problems or have a mental disorder. Then it ramps up.
I smoke weed because it’s fun and enhances certain activities. Most people who smoke are like me.
On the other hand, I understand why long haul truckers get into amphetamines.
