Prairie Dogs bruh. If I recall about in the last 20 years, multiple people have died in Colorado from fleas when exercising (run / walk) near fields with the critters. There are literal running trails and the such that go through empty fields with prairie dogs. Doesn't help when people let their cats go outside and kill prairie dogs, rats and mice, who then lick their fur and track it all inside.
