Chip coulda been on alongside Phil on a two-man Rushmore at Oregon. They’re paying Lanning $7M now; Chip would certainly be exceeding that salary now, had he stayed.
Instead, Chip’s now a coordinator in flyover country under a HC who’s already on life support.

They're bringing their defense back and should win the B1G rather easily. Chip played the wrong QB last year for the most part but his 2022 offense was nails. He didn't really even punt against the 2 best team in the Pac 12 that year.
And there aren't any other serious contenders in that conference.
