I certainly am a lot less confidence about 2024 in Eugene than Vegas 1.5 months ago or even Eugene in 2022. Stop conceding already though.
This whole extra chub coming from everyone in the Oregon camp about poaching a good UW player is lame though. I honest to god prefer to have like some sort of rivalry exist there with the players like you don't cross those lines on both sides and it's gonna suck if it seems like what it is now that it's just business and go be great and rep the north shit. I like college football, not the NFL. Even when UW signed Elijah Molden I never wanted to like rub it in Oregon faces. I was glad to get a guy who was a good recruit but if some foundational UW player in Washington signed with Oregon it would suck.
Same thing with like making Conerly a captain against UW or making promo videos with the center with the hyphen against Utah, you don't come off as some like cocky The U program you just come off as insecure assholes.

Having his dad go on pdx radio and say all these glowing things about Petersen and UW and how proud him and his wife were that he was going here pissed them off way, way more.

fair point. but as someone said about Phil Knight, my hate focus is a personal choice. I never said it was rational.
that said, from a distance Sark seems like a bigger douche; and Lanning’s sample size isn’t big enough yet for a permanent nickname like SWS. give it time.

Willing to bet Lanning is as bad if not worse than Sark. He just hasn't had to face a drip of adversity as a head coach yet. Both are supremely benefiting now from college football becoming such a shit show now no good coaches want to coach it anymore and/or are just looking for paths to the NFL.

Sark is at the point where he doesn't have to get on all fours and bark at people's doors, or show up to Yelm and cheer with pom pom's during their state championship parade.
Lanning still has to do those things even with having bags on hand.
