That’s one of the few redeeming qualities of the 12, soon to be 16 team playoff. If the money is competitive a program like UW can convince a kid that they have as good a shot competing for a title in Seattle as Athens. In the 4 team era the P12 champ was consistently left out of the fight. Hard to recruit against 6 straight years of not even having a seat at the table. Bama, Georgia, Clemson and TOSU were in the final four almost every year. Hard to tell a kid to stay out west when no one respected the few teams trying to put out a competitive product. It’s almost more like the bowl era in recruiting again. Come to UW, have a great shot at a Rose Bowl and if things break right possibly a national title. Substitute Rose Bowl for playoff and the pitch is very similar.
Sit on the Bench in Georgia or play right away at Washington. Obviously this dude is going to be offered by Texas (Sark is a lazy recruiter) and other Big 10 programs and most likely move into the top 300 with a 4 star ranking.
They don’t have a fucking head coach! They haven’t had a winning season in 5 or 6 years. If Kafusi loses Shwerzel to a leaderless, loser program he is truly on a level with PooPoo as a recruiter.
Speaking of Jordan PooPoo he’s hosting a mid 3* athlete from Oregon this weekend who has been offered by most of the Mountain West and Big Sky. Guess this is UWs TE for the class. Plan F is in full motion.
Even before Harbaugh and Shawn there was an appeal to Stanford. World class education while still playing in a power conference and they were solid in the Pac most years. Now they're at a point program wise where you are signing up basically total irrelevance in college football.
There's an appeal to the Stanford degree shit, but at this point how much are we even pretending to play school? Stanford has won 16 games this decade and doesn't have a coach. Signing up to play there right now tells me you just want to play school and aren't serious about being a football player. Not necessarily a terrible life choice but just seems like it's the choice you're making.
What is Furd doing with NIL? Ignorant question I know, but I haven't really heard much about them buying 5* guys who can play school. Surely the money is there if they wanted to spend it that way. I could see some high end guys taking a nice bag to go with a nice piece of paper and a nice post graduate network helping cement their future and saying "fuck competitive football".
I honestly have no idea if Stanford is even trying. I suppose not.

Fish wants us paying attention! @dirtysouwfdawg keep an eye on the twatters for me!
Never mind. The tweet was about TMac not wanting to be called Tet. Gay, even for Judd.

ITB OR GTFO
There’s no good reason to go to Stanford at this point.

You down with JPP? Yeah, you know me.
So now we can blame a kid for taking a Stanford education?
Because it used to be that we couldn't

I completely forgot they don’t have a coach lol
No one can really explain how the education is better either. It just got thrown out there and people ran with it.
Exactly. Frank Reich is the interim corch but has already said he won’t return next year. So who the fuck would any kid be committing to?
All kids are dumb and retarded no matter where they go to school
