If Lanning or DeBoer leave I’m going to be depressed.

Despite Lanning being 0-3, depressed isn't the word I'd use if he left unless clutching my stomach with evil, maniacal laughter is depressing. I mean I'd understand that argument too, I guess. Whatever.

DeBoer is a man who wants to win the title his way, not ride the coat tails of the GOAT who did it 6 fucking times.

DeBoer surpassed Bama this year and finished #2.

    He isnt going to Bama.

I'm not sure that enters into his thinking. In the same way that his assistants have stayed with him for so long because they recognize a good situation, I honestly think DeBoer also sees the good situation at UW and would want to build on what's already been established. In the same way he refers to the brief span of a player's career, he knows that coaches don't have forever either. Also, in the same way as Don James, DeBoer is an understated Midwest guy who is a good fit for Seattle.

It won’t be Dabo, Lanning or DeBelly. It’s either Lane or believe it or not, Sark. It’s not who’s the better corch at the Blue Chips nowadays. It’s who can aquiesce to the new environment. And what were once shitty corches in Lane and Sark, are now positioned the best for new Frontier.

I think Lanning would be a lot more controllable than Lane.

Sark would also be insane to take that job. Judging by the Texas fans, he can keep those idiots happy for many years. Not so in Bama.
Texas fans will turn on him much faster than you realize

Have you seen the way Seattle people dress? Have you heard of the Seattle freeze? Etc.

Was Don James not a great fit for this region? Of course he was.

It's the same way how Petersen could never be a good fit in LA
    How do we dress, Derek?

    Guess what I'm wearing... 😉

Massive Midwest migration to Seattle in the 60’s and 70’s. It has slowed, but they adjust to the climate (most like it) much better than wankers from California. A number of those Ballard Norskies, Swedes, and Danes arrived via Minnesota, Montana, North and South Dakota. I agree, Seattle suits the Dutchman well.

Uncle Phil going to spend all that money and still die without a championship. Sad.

I'm sticking with my Dabo prediction.

    Good call

    The Dabo decline is overstated

How many active coaches have two national championships?

I believe Kirby is the only other
