Sources tell the Hotline that Mr. Gates doesn't necessarily want to "eliminate" 7.5 billion people, but kidnap and hide 7.5 billion people in his underground Moon base. Mr. Gates aims to save his own bacon by using this colony of humans as a peace offering to the Martian General Staff during the upcoming invasion, where they will most likely be conscripted into the Martian and/or inter-galactic sex trade. Furthermore, the Hotline was told that Mr. Gates also plans to leverage this peace offering into the open Solar System Chieftain position on the Galactic Committee.

As of today's deadline, we have been unable to independently verify the validity of these claims.
