On vacation with my family and they asked, “is there anything we want to watch tonight?”
I eagerly asked if we could pull up the 1992 UW-Michigan Rose Bowl.
They kindly indulged me (for awhile, we turned it off after the first quarter), and it was so thrilling to relive that game.
Everyone thought it was cute how I got angry at the early interception by Michigan and my father turned to me and said, “uh, I should remind you my dear that the Huskies win.”
The playoff committee screwed us out of this iconic Rose Bowl rematch. I would’ve loved to have gone to Pasadena again.
But beating the Wolverines again for the national title in Houston…that will more than make up for it. 🙂
