I love Leach and I firmly believe he would have eventually plungered Sark, not just kept it close and waited for the collapse. He's the perfect coach for Pullman (Lubbock's long lost twin) and the cuogs will be respectable while he is there. Craig James really fucked Tech.

If you don't agree with this, you're a fucking doog. Cue Mick putting down the xbox controller to talk about how the refs jobbed UW in the '12 AC.
What are you talking about??? I love Coach Leach, just not in the same way you do.

How many times have you swung on his sword???

Fuck, way to jump in this thread like Damon Huard.

Before Leech got there, it was absolutely embarrassing. We were the real 0-12 team. Our linemen literally looked like high school players and had no business being in the pac: dumpy, soft, and small.

9-16 from where we were is a massive improvement, he is performing adequately in recruiting, and most importantly we actually look like a p12 team for the first team in forever. He's worth every pemmy imo.

Sark better than Ty post of the day
I'm not sure I phrased the last piece effectively. 9-16 by itself is not acceptable, but I'm not "hoping" we're going to improve to an 8 win team this year. Similarly to how Petersen hasn't coached a down in the pac as a pac coach, yet you're a fucking idiot if you think UW won't be much improved than what they were under Sark, if you've been paying attention to the fundamental changes in the program.

I was just fucking with you. I agree with you and think Leach is a good coach for you guys.

Leach needs to lose a Rose Bowl and then pop off!

Sorry, maybe I'm shitty town superiority guy, but I hear this comparison a lot and it's not the case. Other than being boring towns, Lubbock has way more going for it resource-wise than Pullman. For one, Lubbock has around 250,00 people...a fairly decent sized city. Pullman's population goes down by 60% when school gets out. It's also much easier to win at Tech because there's so much good talent in Texas, you can pick up plenty of studs who aren't good enough for a UT or A&M offer but are pretty damn good players that want to play close to home. So besides the fact that Lubbock is close to 9 times bigger than Pullman, they're basically like twins.

Coogfarm was predicting Rose Bowel year 2.
Cuogfarm can diaff. Also, I will never defend that piece of shit bowl game last year. Leech does have an ego problem.

Yeah Lubbock is way bigger, but it's a fucking wasteland. Tack on it being a dry county and Pullman pulls even. And, Pullman doesn't smell like a slaughterhouse. There are checks and balances here, but my main point was that they are places that are fucking thrilled to have a guy like Leach where people look their way.

It took Price quite a bit longer than that, but he's no Rich Brooks. So there's that.

I actually thought Wulff did okay given what he inherited. Probably the worst situation in Pac history. 7 certainly wouldn't have done any better. 4 wins in 2011 and 2 3 pt losses playing backup QBs the entire year. Really tough luck for him that year. But they made the right move because they could get someone a lot better in Leech.

Somewhere on football outsiders I think they rank teams on the road and at home. WSU probably was a top 25 road team last season. Played 5 top 25 SRS teams on the road and went 2-3 with close losses to Auburn and UW. In a year or two Stanford & Oregon will come back to the pack and Leech every few years or so could have WSU as a factor in the race.

My problem with Wulff, other than that he's inferior to Leech, was that he "didn't realize how far off WSU was." Well he fucking should have.

Absolute nonsense about Wulff. He was complete trash, one of the worst coaches in P12 history.

Leach is a good coach for WSU. It's not really debatable. They're going to be a threat and a tough win for UW every year going forward.

He would have won at UW too, just not as consistently as I think Petersen will.

Holy shit, people other than Harv defending WULFF! ???

The thing I like about Leach is that he's batshit crazy, so regardless of whether he wins or loses, it will be interesting.

Maybe he could buy a few running backs with that extra cash.

You don't need RBs when you throw 85 times a game.
