I've been finding myself wandering around CDA wondering which people around me are the depraved citizens of Hardcore husky. I'll never see another dawg fan again in north idaho and not wonder..."Is that guy Purple Throbber?"
you should see how low our property taxes are though. We might have all the taxes, but the rates are way the heck lower.
This is such a major offset. Finished my home in the county sent me the new tax assessment and let's just say I shut my mouth and gave a thumbs up. In Washington they absolutely hammered you and where I was at if I wanted to build had to go through so many different departments and fill out so many different permits. Plus the energy codes that clown shoe just force through will triple your building costs for energy.
I'd be happy living in Idaho but the wife says if we move we're gettting the hell out of the PNW and moving to where the sun is plentiful. If I had Haie money I'd be on the Big Island.
Idaho is nice - traveling man has spent 3 weeks - Mountain Home, Declo (if you know this place your life sucks), and east of CDL. Go to the City of Rocks it's almost in Utah. Also stayed south of Island Park in a cabin by Warm River, I think that was it, Mesa Falls, Targhee Mtns area for a week many moons (sorry @Swaye) ago. I guess I have been north, east, west and south in the Gem State

Tennessee and Texas are on the table.
Otherwise I wouldn't have left Portland, Oregon.
That being said, the people here are wonderful
