If Polk and McMillan are 100 percent committed to leaving or coming back right now either way I would be surprised. If they look great in the remaining game(s) they'd be silly not to leave if they are at least a day 2 selection.
Inverse of that is if they are not a day 2 selection it's probably in their best interest to come back.
It sounds like this kid just didn’t mesh well with coach Shepherd. I sort of get that. The dude seems pretty fucking intense.
Some guys are fine playing for a coach like Saban. Others want to play for a coach like Pete Carrol. From what I’ve seen Shepherd isn’t exactly what I’d call a “players coach.”
