    I think it all depends on the criteria for what “special place” means.

    According to Winsipedia, Florida ranks above UW in 10/12 categories they track. The 2 schools are close in most of the categories.

    Michigan State boasts 6 national championships. Doesn't mean they don't view themselves in an overrated light.
