How will we ever beat Mighty Tejas?

That's a bold statementRobbielew said:Two very good teams. Texas is better on the line of scrimmage. Y'all have some beast WRs, but Worthy, Mitchell, and Whittington are not far off them and Sanders at TE is serious weapon. Penix is better than Ewers, but every QB is pedestrian if pressured up the middle and that will probably decide the game. Worthy can be the X factor as he is a dangerous receiver and equally dangerous return man. I hear a lot of Sark commentary, but this is not USC or UW Sark. This is a dude that fell into hell and crawled out of it and those type of men are always dangerous, especially a gameplanner of his pedigree. While UW is a better team than last year, Texas is whole different animal. We all know last year don't mean a shit anyway. Should be a great game. Y'all should be confident and we should be confident. Look forward to seeing a great game between two excellent teams.

Do Texas fans think they are already in the SEC or something?whatshouldicareabout said:

Big12 lines were shit this year. Congrats on beating up on some drek.
UW's OL is better than anything in the big12. -
So, where is the board where the actual Washington grads post as this clearly isn't it?
-
i guess the rest of the country just assumes all west coast lines are finesse and light in the pants

Youre right that the best SEC teams are usually a tier above the rest on defense.SECDAWG said:

Pod you get some credit here, but you becoming a tidepod is lame. Puh?SECDAWG said:IOW, I predicted my team and you yours.
All of the Sudden I’m a Saban ball gargler but you’re not a Duck .
Puh.
Explain where I’m wrong or came off that way, specifically, other than pissing in some cheerios..
But no one here wants to hear a Miss State fan hyping up Bama, tidepod
Whose winning, Oregon or Liberty?? -
I was going to correct him, but it's not worth the effort. It's akin to tilting at winmills.EsophagealFeces said:

Texas definitely has some dudes on D but UW isn't a very good match-up for them because their secondary is the weak link. UW's secondary was horrible last year but they added an all conference guy in two conferences (Jabbar Muhammad) and JC Thaddeus Dixon (who I am higher on than others here, he has shown improvement the 2nd half of the season).
On the flip side, Ewers is good but not great now and not having Brooks really hurts them. Ewers has a plus arm though UW really benefits playing him this year rather than next when his improved decision making and reading of defenses should get him drafted in the 1st round of the 2025 draft.
I don't know how banged up Texas was at the end of the season but have to imagine the long break benefits UW because UW's depth isn't as good as Texas'. Tuli L. will be fully healthy, so will Dillon Johnson, and UW's secondary will be at full strength too. -
After the 3rd one, I had to.PurpleBaze said:
