An extra day for DeBoer to have rent free space in Lanning’s mind.
If you have a recording watch the pregame where DeBoer walks up behind Lanning and says I had a feeling I'd see you again
Lanning appears startled and rattles off for sure best team we saw this year and bails
He looks oddly intimidated by his super nice midwestern attitude. Like he wants to hate him desperately but he can’t.
I’m in the Midwest right now and the Nebraska classy, super Canadian-esque niceness and manners are almost jarring if you’re not used to it. And it’s not the passive aggressive, superficial politeness you find in the Pacific Northwest. These guys mean it!
It took me an entire hour to leave a family function (the Midwest Goodbye is the polar opposite of the Irish goodbye) and I was forced to take home two casserole dishes, a plate of home baked cookies, a case a beer, and a pair of gloves (“ya, it might just be coooooolld out there.”)
Oregon got an extra day to prepare and the good guys still won. 🖕
Did they prepare? Looked like the same Oregon. I watched both games, they didn’t change a thing
That’s what they are. Their playbook gets emptied in the first half and they usually just hang on in the second. They play with extreme confidence and bravado. They can’t handle a team that goes toe to toe with them.

2x of the biggest shit talkers on Twitter...
One disables his account.
The other makes his account inactive, re-activates it, changes the Twitter handle (it was B1GD1ckDuck) and makes his profile pic black.
God what a fan base.
