Lincoln has still has a pretty damn impressive run as a HC, especially considering how many coordinators inherit a Ferrari and crash it into a ditch.

Didn't watch. I don't see any reason to be surprised though. He was a proven playoff loser who piled up offensive stats in a shit league and nothing more.

SC signed him when things were pretty bleak here. I understood why people were pissed and envious that they were making a big dick move. I said then, though, that SC wasn't getting their money's worth and that he would never be a championship coach.

I'm not even boasting. Everyone knew, or should've known, that I was right. It wasn't an original thought. There was just a lack of perspective due to disgust with UW at the time.

Lincoln took the first good offer out of Norman to run away from having to be SEC Tuff. He probably thought the PAC would stay together and he could string together 3 years of 10+ wins and get an NFL gig. He sucks.
