For 2021 we went to Sky High Brewing which the 5 story, bar on each level setup is awesome.
There was a nice bar/tap room across the street from there but it looks like it is dead as well. -

Mostly the latter. It takes a lot of winning for UW to drum up much of a bandwagon these days. The school is unattainable for too many Wa residents. When I was a kid there was a widespread pride in it. Only good students went there so there was academic prestige, but it wasn't out of reach to the underachieving smart kid or the challenged kid who worked really hard. WSU is more relatable to the barely scrubbed masses, and, if they aren't interesting, so are the Oregon schools.
I think undefeated and another win over Oregon would turn a lot of that around, at least until next season.
