Are you guys seeing more bandwagon fans jump on as they get closer to an undefeated regular season? Or more old timers showing interest again?
Mostly the latter. It takes a lot of winning for UW to drum up much of a bandwagon these days. The school is unattainable for too many Wa residents. When I was a kid there was a widespread pride in it. Only good students went there so there was academic prestige, but it wasn't out of reach to the underachieving smart kid or the challenged kid who worked really hard. Not the case these days and a lot of people view UW in a bad light or just disregard it because of that.
WSU is more relatable to the barely scrubbed masses, and, if they aren't interesting, so are the Oregon schools.
I think undefeated and another win over Oregon would turn a lot of that around, at least until next season.
paging @haie need micro brew recommendations for beavletville.
Flat Tail Brewing was my favorite for years. Died though, I think because of covid.
For 2021 we went to Sky High Brewing which the 5 story, bar on each level setup is awesome.
There was a nice bar/tap room across the street from there but it looks like it is dead as well.
I didn’t ask for recommendations so I probably went to the wrong place, but I walked to Big Time Brewery after the UO WA game. The beer was ok, but the pizza was really good.

Swear to God if they're not top 4 if they beat Utah.
And I don't think a one loss UW makes it
