Butt also, it's definitely getting cancelled. I am courageously AGAINST redlining. -
Probably my favorite play of the game. I remember watching the angle from other side of the field and thinking of the old Vince Lombardi clip, “a seal here, and a seal here …”GrundleStiltzkin said:

Most elusive QB ive ever seenRaceBannon said:Williams is the real deal off field malarkey aside
He could avoid the duck pass rush and find some open guys. He's basically going to need a Heisman game to win in Eugene
Like Penix did last year
That OL is nothing special -
What kills me about that spin move is he did it literally every single Tim and UW defenders never thought to adjust their angle to him. I remember when Eason and Browning used to try that back shoulder spin shit and go down in a heap each time they did it.GrundleStiltzkin said: -

The initial spot didn’t get enough criticism from the announcers.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
Terrible spot. It wasn’t 6” off, it was a yard & half off.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

This defense could be decent if they could continue to do this 2-3 times out of 10GrundleStiltzkin said: -

Yup, my initial reaction was he was close and worse case was 4th and inches and then they marked it a yard and a fucking half. I almost fell out of my chair which can obviously be tricky for a man of my proportions.GrundleStiltzkin said:

This deep pitch play that worked several times seems to be a new wrinkle. Gives a little time for blocks to execute and lets the big johnson get up a head of speed. Team seemed to execute it well. Am I the only one not remembering us doing this in prior games?GrundleStiltzkin said: -
They did it once or twice against Stanford or ASU IIRC. But it was definitely a new emphasis. Curious if it was USC specific or something we'll use going forward.DoogieMcDoogerson said:

Because I’m a dork, I’m more interested to see whether they run the counters off that. That clip shows jet action, and there’s probably half dozen boot/play actions.dnc said:

Can't wait for the pay off from this be a four-yard pass to Odunze which almost gets intercepted.GrundleStiltzkin said:

At a minimum, they’re at least showing the boot and if you watch Rome, he turns back like he might get a passGrundleStiltzkin said:

Rome was the first fake on jet. I'm sure he could get a pass out of that series, but him and Penix turn around to watch the play. I had to trim that clip, ever mindful of bandwidth massacre.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

And blocking was teh tits. Giles Jackson gets a good one, and is that Center? that get the final key one on the safety (I think). -
Yup, Center makes his presence felt way downfield.GrundleStiltzkin said:

A lot of our WR run normal routes on running plays. Look at the long TD by Johnson where our trips all run routes and pull the DBs away. It's essentially the same as our WRs blocking but it's a lot easier on them and less chance of drawing a holding penaltyGrundleStiltzkin said:
