Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
We? had a similar stretch last year
September 30 - 32-40 loss at UCLA (9-4). Pumped in crowd noise, bad tackling, couldn’t stop a 4.99 running WR tailor made for the “12’s”
October 8 - 38-45 loss at ASU (3-9). Calamity of errors, bad defense.
October 15 - 49-39 win vs Arizona (5-7) at home. Bad defense, couldn’t just put them down when they needed.
October 22 - 28-21 win at Cal (4-8). Struggled to score in the redzone and even trailed at one point IIRC. Led 28-14 in the fourth and couldn’t put them away. They rallied and had the ball for one last drive when time ran out.
October 29 - BYE
November 4 - 24-21 win vs Oregon State (10-3) at home. Needed a long drive on a dirty rainy night you’d generally only find in Gorst. Gave up another weird pick six where it bounced off someone and right into the hands of a Beaver defender.
Those five games I hated this team, it wasn’t fun and it was frustrating as hell.
Most of us had no confidence going to Eugene yet look what happened. Wasn’t a perfect game but in all reality Oregon (10-3) had to play perfect to beat the Dawgs that day and they didn’t.
Winners Win.
Let’s go in dry on USC

Dont know how to really comment on Fresno D. They were ok for that league, and better when the offense put a lot of pressure on the opponents.
Fresno showed signs of life in the weird '20 half season, but mostly people saw a team that went from 11 losses in '19 to 10 wins in their next full season, 2021. Almost no one was going to bitch after that kind of improvement...not entirely different to how most UW fans felt after '22, I suppose.
