Every time I hear about how grown up the younger generation is I laugh. Sex, drugs and rock and roll isn't being grown up (although substituting alcohol for drugs was a great life at college). Work and being responsible for your own environment is being grown up. That leaves plenty of time for having fun in most cases. 15 hours of class time a week and three hours of studying a day leaves plenty of time for fun. Then its off to work after graduation and there is still plenty of time for fun, again in most cases. This sense of entitlement and that big government is the new daddy/husband for women and soy boys is hardly grown up.
We hired a bunch of gen z’ers last year because we desperately needed anyone with a pulse. We have maybe 25% of them left who haven’t quit or we haven’t fired. This young generation (hate to generalize) is full of kids who don’t know how to work and who are stuck in the digital realm.
She said she’s not working out anymore so I’d probably avoid taking a long position there. Anyways, I was helping pay the mortgage in hs, graduated straight into the housing crisis, and don’t have a pussy to use as a backup plan so she can fuck right off.
I work plenty of 50 hour weeks and weekends, 12 straight, 14 straight, 21 straight daze. No sympathy from Billy. I do get it. I was lazy at 25 too. At least my parents hinted at the real life grind.
