Polk, Jmac, or both?

I think more than 50% though I don't know shit. I wonder if he can/has desire to play LT or not because that could swing things given the starter next year will almost assuredly be a righty.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Wonder if Rosengarten comes back

Polk, JMac, and Bernard would sure be a nice group to have for next year.

We they leave we will get some badass portal WRs

He should be back for at least one more year. He was good as a freshman but hasn't taken a huge step. I would be surprised if he suddenly gets a bunch of draft hype.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Wonder if Rosengarten comes back
The question for me is Fautanu. He's probably a day 2 pick, so there is at least a small chance he comes back and tries to work himself into the first round.
One possibility is Fautanu declares, and Rosengarten gets to play left tackle. -
Polk is my favorite player

Just look at Seattle's 1st round Smith-Njigba. #21 pick got $7.5m upfront. 2nd round pick got $2m upfront. A 3rd rounder gets about $1m upfront. All have the same $750k base salary year one.dannarc said:If I was in their shoes, early 20's and have an opportunity to get paid very well playing college ball, I'm staying. The NFL's initial contract would be great but if you STAY and get paid, then tap into the NFL, it's a win-win. The only thing that might stand in the way is a really pathetic QB and injury, but under DeBoner, I would bank on a competent qb
NIL will prevent the 2nd and 3rd rounders from going pro but not the first rounders.

Polk is a board favorite and rightfully so. He makes big play after big play. I personally underrated him prior to last season and again this offseason.SonnyShackelford said:Polk is my favorite player
As far as the tackles go, I don't think either comes back. I suspect NFL grades on them are probably not going to change much with another season. They're both vets with a ton of games on film.
My low budget opinions:
Fautanu is a low/mid round pick because most still believe he's a guard in the NFL. He's playing out of position and doing it well, because he's talented as hell for a college OL, but guards aren't first round picks.
Rosengarten will go a little higher than Fautanu. I know he doesn't get a ton of publicity but he's fucking good as a run and pass blocker and super athletic. When was the last time Penix got hit from behind? Ever? He's the best tackle at UW in a long time imo, better than McGary who has gotten pretty rich in the NFL. -
Both, and hopefully they get $1,000,000 eachPostGameOrangeSlices said:Me thinks one if not both of these guys are coming back next year do to our elite NIL for proven assets.
What thinks you? -
I think Polk has until Jan. 15 to declare for the draft. The Winter transfer window ends Jan. 2, so if they're on the fence they can wait to see what QB portals in. I can't imagine the staff won't pursue someone, and I also can't imagine UW won't be attractive to portaling QBs. I'm optimistic Polk comes back to be WR1 for the first time.FireCohen said:If there was QB they think put numbers up, but all 3 are gone because of that uncertainty
