Hate McCarthy for reneging on a couple promises. But what I’m see on here is that most of you don’t remember or even know that you have to give and take to get what it is that you really want in Congress. Kinda like the Newt Clinton games.
And from what I see most of you are butthurt about the border wall. Ignoring that the Biden admin has pledged to finish it anyway after the ouster.
So now there are no viable Republican options for Speaker now. And its because not only can the Republicans not negotiate effectively with the other Party. They can’t even do so within their own party.
It’s an embarrassment.

You know that some aid will be distributed to those Countries eventually, dontcha Bob?
And like any negotiation you come in pie in the sky high. And you absolutely low ball counter that offer with contingencies on other things that you want. Be it better border security, tougher welfare requirements, whatever.
And you go back and forth until you get things that are important to you for the money that you are eventually going to end up printing.
Just because Biden is gonna axe for $100 bill, doesn’t mean He will get close to that with effective negotiations.
But we don’t have anyone on our team that can do that. Because they other just want to get along and go along, or they just want to see everything burn to the ground.
